OPUS kindergarteners at Chapman School, Fireweed Academy, and Paul Banks Elementary School made over 80 cardboard violins in September! Thank you to all the families and friends who came to help and get messy with us! Cardboard violins are a teaching tool that help our kindergartners practice caring for and using a violin with a simplified instrument that is safe to drop. This helps prepare them for the responsibility of using real violins in second semester.
