Last month, new violins arrived for the Chapman Eagle Ensemble. These young musicians love getting to play real instruments. And they already had already mastered “rest position” because they’ve been practicing with cardboard violins. Thanks to a grant of $25,000 from the Rasmuson Foundation for help in outfitting these emerging string players.
