K-2 Violins Cardboard Violins
Congratulations to all our kindergarten students who started their violin journey by building their very own cardboard violin with their family! Building a cardboard violin helps our kindergarteners and their families invest in their violin education. These cardboard violins are how we practice our violin skills and learn about violin care and safety before getting our real instruments. They also become a shared experience and treasured keepsake. Many of our OPUS alumni still have their cardboard violins many years later!
Thank you to all family and friends who participated in violin building! This event would not be possible without your support. Thanks also to OPUS supporter and HYSOC parent, Jeff Williams, for cutting out the beautiful cardboard violin bodies for all our students!
