The Fireweed Frescoes had their first performance of the year at Fireweed’s annual Harvest Festival on October 17th! Our kindergarteners demonstrated their violin skills including rest position, playing position, and bunny bow holds with their cardboard violins. 1st grade showed off all the work they have been doing with string levels, string crossings, and rhythm. 2nd grade performed using their violin fingers showing how they are able to play different notes on the A string and E string. We ended the concert with a grand finale singing and playing If All the Raindrops Medley by Stephanie Leavell.
