Homer OPUS musicians from Chapman, Paul Banks and Fireweed enjoy a concert by the UAF Alaska Trio as part of their OPUS Festival of Strings on April 4th.

Over 200 OPUS musicians were treated to a wonderful concert from the Alaska Trio as part of the Homer OPUS Festival of Strings. Kid’s comments revealed how important music is in the life of a child. A 2nd grader whispered, “I could stay here all day”. And a 1st grader told us after the concert, “That was beautiful”. Testimonies to OPUS’s mission to bring joy through immersion and exposure to good music.
